Damascus Visa Office Temporarily Closed
Because of the continuing violence in Syria, the government of Canada decided to close the Visa and Immigration Section at the Canadian Embassy in Damascus is losed and services have been transferred to neighbouring visa offices.
Until the Canadian Visa Office in Damascus is operational again, those in Syria applying for Temporary Resident Visa will have to send their application to Canadian Visa Office in Lebanon (Beirut) or Jordan (Amman).
For permanent resident visa applications, application must be sent to Jordan (Amman).
Syrian nationals outside of Syria can submit their application to any other Canadian visa office.
