Update on Canada's travel restrictions: International Students, PR Applicants and Temporary Foreign Workers Are Exempted
To protect Canadians and support its economy, Canada shut down its borders and limited the entry to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents. Initially, it exempted only the citizens of the United States. But it recently updated the exemptions in its travel restrictions.

As of February 7, 2020, a total of 72 States Parties were identified to be implementing travel restrictions through official reports, official statements and the media. And as of March 10, 2020, there are 79 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canada.
