Holders of New Philippine E-Passport Are Now Visa Exempt When Visiting Canada!

Have you seen the design of the New Philippine E-Passport?  Aside from its new awesome design, there's another reason why you would want to get this new passport.

If you want to visit Canada using a New Philippine E-Passport, you must visit DFA immediately. This April Fool's Day policy is a limited-offer only.

Effective April 1, 2016, Filipinos holding a New Philippine E-Passport may now visit Canada even without visa.  Canadian Visit Visa is one of the most difficult visa to be obtained by Filipinos due to Canada's strict policy.

"There are many Filipinos who enter Canada on a temporary resident visa with the purpose of getting employed in Canada and do not respect the authorized period of stay being given them.  This is becoming a big problem", said Canada's Immigration Minister.

To address the said problem, Citizenship and Immigration Canada decided to waive the visa requirement for Filipino visitors since it is not being respected anyway.  This will be a great chance for those planning to visit Canada! [Source]
