Job Offer from Shouldice Hospital | Coaching Interview

This job offer scam for Filipino Nurses using the name of Shouldice Hospital was reported in several papers a couple of days ago. Here's a report from GMA News Network. According to the report, the scammer invites nurses to "coaching interviews" conducted by staff of the said hospitals in Makati in preparation for suppposed interviews to be conducted by the Canadian Embassy in Manila. A P3,888 fee for the coaching interview is required and applicants are being instructed to send payment via Western Union.

It case you received an email supposedly from Shouldice Hospital, well, you've been warned. Check this statement from the official Shouldice Hospital website:
Alert - there is a current email /web job scam.

There have been a recent series of emails and web sites claiming that they are working to provide staff to Shouldice. These claims are false.

- Shouldice Hospital does not offer employment based on an online application only.
- We do not require new employees to undergo “interview coaching” or any other type of training for which a fee is charged.
- We are not involved in any recruitment efforts in the Philippines.

These types of emails are a form of fraud. They will ask for payment in advance and they will take payment without delivering anything.
