Depending on your circumstances, there are various ways how you may be able to live and work in Canada. These immigration programs by the Canadian Government is designed to address their labor shortage problem. Thus, in most cases, you need to establish that you have the education, skills and experience that you may contribute before you may be allowed to immigrate to Canada.
Federal Skilled Worker Class Application. If you are eligible based on the Six Selection Criteria, you may apply to live and work in Canada independently. Provincial Nominee Program. Different provinces/territories have their own program. To immigrate to Canada under this program you may either need a support from an employer, relative or friends.
Canada Business Immigration. There are currently three classes of business immigrants namely:investors, entrepreneurs and self-employed persons. Each class of business immigrants have different criteria.
Family Class Sponsorship. There are two different processes for sponsoring your family. One process is used for sponsoring your spouse, conjugal or common-law partner and/or dependent children. Another process is used to sponsor other eligible relatives.
Canadian Experience Class. This is the latest addition to ways on how to immigrate to Canada. Temporary foreign workers and international students may benefit under this program.
You see, there are ways more than one how to immigrate to Canada. But it is not enough that you have the education, experience and other qualifications.
