Priority Processing for Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) Survivors

Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander recently announced that Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will prioritize the processing of applications from people who self-identify as being significantly affected by the typhoon. If you have a pending visa application at Canadian Visa Office - Manila,  you may send email to manila-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and request for priority processing.  In sending email do not forget to include the following:

• How you have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan;
• The region that you are in;
• Your name (family and given);
• Date of birth;
• Type of application (student, worker, visitor, Permanent Residence in Canada);
• Client ID (optional);
• File # (optional) and
• Telephone number (optional).
